Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Tableword, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Using Tableword

Tableword is a platform for in-person and online Bible study groups. You may use the service to host and join study sessions, create and share study plans, and participate in discussion.

You agree not to:

• Post content that is hateful, harassing, or abusive
• Impersonate any person or tradition misrepresentatively
• Attempt to disrupt or abuse the service
• Use the service for commercial solicitation without permission
• Circumvent any access controls or security measures

3. User content

You retain copyright in content you create (plans, reflections, comments). By publishing content on Tableword, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating the service.

You are responsible for content you post. We may remove content that violates these Terms.

4. Ecumenical posture

Tableword serves communities from multiple Christian traditions. We ask that all users engage with tradition-specific content respectfully. Content that demeans or attacks another tradition may be removed.

5. Donations

Donations support the operation of Tableword. All donations are voluntary and non-refundable unless required by law. Cosmetic donor benefits (frames, colors, badges) are provided as a thank-you, not as a condition of a commercial transaction.

We reserve the right to change, discontinue, or modify donor benefits with reasonable notice.

6. Account termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Termination results in loss of your content; we recommend exporting your data before deletion.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

Tableword is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, data preservation, or fitness for any particular purpose.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tableword and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
